Through the generosity of our community making cash donations and through our fundraising efforts, we have had the privilege of helping thousands of children in Horry County meet basic needs.
Throughout the year, we rely on the counselors in the schools to make us aware of the needs they see amongst the children. in their own schools as they become evident.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys each year also enable the members of the committee, known as Santa’s Angels, to help make sure every child has a present to open on Christmas morning.
Cash donations may be mailed to:

TIPS FOR A FUN PARADE!
NO POLITICAL MESSAGES
BE DIFFERENT
Use light patterns other than just lining your rails. Use Animation~
BE COLORFUL
Use deck displays and light with a lot of variety and color that demand attention. One, two or even three colors in specific patterns can be very attractive. BE BRIGHT The more lights, the better the impression. Light the objects (Santa, elves, etc …. ) you want to be seen from a distance.
BE VISIBLE
Can your decorations be seen clearly from 300 to 400 feet?
MAKE THINGS BIG
Make Your Parade Number Easy To Find Is your ID number on the starboard and port bow? You are not judged until the judges find your number. If they see your number as you approach, they have sufficient time to_lo ok you over. Make sure your number is secure. Poorly secured numbers have been known to fold in half because of the wind, and are not readable.
DO NOT CROWD THE BOAT IN FRONT
If you do, please consider that the boat in front of you will receive the most attention.
DO NOT LAG BEHIND
If you do, people get bored. It’s easier to feed off excitement already in the air than to create your own.
HAVE FUN!!!!!
